I offer up to these moments and I offer up my days.
I offer up my words and I offer up my praise.
I worship You. I worship You.
I offer up my worries and I offer up my pain.
I offer up my wond'ring and I offer up my shame.
I worship You. I worship You.
I offer up my planning and I offer up my schemes.
I offer up my hopes and I offer up my dreams.
I worship You. I worship You.
You have me in your power, you hold my in your hand.
I'm safe within your loving arms, in You I'll take my stand.
Your love and mercy fill my heart,

Hear My Words
Oh Lord,
How do I cope,
My heart is broken,
I am crushed,
I am bruised and battered,
despair is my constant companion.
How do I stand the pain.
How can I cope?
Your word is true,
Your faithfulness is unending,
Your love is always near
I know these things are true.
I have spoken them,
I have encouraged others in the truth.
Now, I stand in their place.
No words console.
No encouragement soothes.
My emotions are raw and ravaged
Food and sleep are another world.
The end is near.
How can I cope?
Oh, Lord,
Look on my plight
View me with pity
See me in this place.
Now, here my Words,
Not my emotions.
I......Trust.....You...!
How do I cope,
My heart is broken,
I am crushed,
I am bruised and battered,
despair is my constant companion.
How do I stand the pain.
How can I cope?
Your word is true,
Your faithfulness is unending,
Your love is always near

Completely Me
All the things I thought so important in my life,
The toys, the tools, the trophies made to rust,
I trusted in these things to make my life complete,
But I'm completely me in you alone.
I thought that other people could make me feel complete,
The accolades, the smiles and the handshakes,
It just all left me empty and then I realized,
I'm completely me in you alone.
I thought it was my wife, my job, my kids for sure,
My car, my house, or maybe the TV,
But nothing satisfied, and then I realized
I'm completely me in you alone.
I'm completely me in you alone.
I'm completely my in you alone
You alone can make me whole,
You alone can fill my soul,
I'm completely me in you alone.

Accolades and Applause
Jesus,
The accolades and applause of men,
are so hard to resist.
The heart gets full, the emotions fueled,
and the adrenaline is high.
"That was awesome, just magnificent."
"No one does quite like you."
"You really spoke to me today."
"I am so glad that you came."
Ahh... the words that make me smile,
That put my mind at ease.
How soon again will I need the rush,
Just one more week.
The accolades and the applause of men
Are temporaries best.
Soon gone, forgotten,
Trophies covered in dust.
Jesus, just to feel your smile,
To notice the Father's nod,
To sense the Spirit's cheering,
Will always be enough.
The accolades and applause of men,
are so hard to resist.
The heart gets full, the emotions fueled,
and the adrenaline is high.
"That was awesome, just magnificent."
"No one does quite like you."
"You really spoke to me today."

Captivity to Prosperity
The choices of my life have led me captive,
Away from hearth and home to foreign land.
There are no prison walls, no chains to bind me,
Only consequences for the choices made.
But in this place of my captivity,
You tell me I can find prosperity,
This is not a place to hide and feel decrease,
It is a time for seeking out increase.
You tell me not to listen to the voices,
That prophesy my ultimate defeat.
You are not a God delighting in destruction,
But from captivity to freedom you release.
So when my banishment has come to end.
When my heart is captive to you once again.
Your plans for me do not include my harm,
My hope, my future in you will be charmed.

Quiet Me
Father, quiet me with your love,
Wrap me in your protective arms
Let me be still in your presence.
Let the sobs diminish,
Let the tears be wiped away,
Let me see into your eyes of tenderness.
Sing your song over me,
As a child troubled in the night,
Let the darkness be dispelled.
Let my head rest on your shoulder,
And be comforted by your warmth,
Hear my cry, "Daddy."
Lift me up and I will be still,
Hold me close and I will be comforted,
Quiet me with your love.
Wrap me in your protective arms
Let me be still in your presence.
Let the sobs diminish,
Let the tears be wiped away,
Let me see into your eyes of tenderness.
Sing your song over me,
As a child troubled in the night,
Let the darkness be dispelled.
Let my head rest on your shoulder,
And be comforted by your warmth,
Hear my cry, "Daddy."
Lift me up and I will be still,
Hold me close and I will be comforted,
Quiet me with your love.

Life Happens
O Lord,
I know life happens.
It is not punishment from you.
It is not the enemy winning.
Help me not to blame.
Help me not to accuse.
Help me not curse the circumstance.
I will trust you in the now.
I will have faith for the future.
I will not live in the past.
You are my provider.
You are my protector.
You are my prosperity.

Character
Jesus,
I know the most important thing,
is not my comfort,
is not my career,
But my character.
Test me that I may be proven.
Protect me that I may not fall.
Keep me from the pit of destruction.
Prove me.
Let the fire come.
Burn the dross away.
May all who see - rejoice.
May all who watch - glorify You.
May all who wonder - be convinced.
I know the most important thing,
is not my comfort,
is not my career,
But my character.
Test me that I may be proven.
Protect me that I may not fall.
Keep me from the pit of destruction.
Prove me.
Let the fire come.
Burn the dross away.
May all who see - rejoice.
May all who watch - glorify You.
May all who wonder - be convinced.

Sickness and Death
O Lord,
I know you are good.
I know you are loving.
I know you watch over us.
I know...
Hear my Prayer.
My heart is broken.
My mind is numb.
My body is in pain.
This path of sickness and death;
It is unfamiliar.
I don't want to be here.
I want off this path.
I submit to your mercy.
I sleep in your grace.
I will rest in your goodness.
I Will believe...
I know you are good.
I know you are loving.
I know you watch over us.
I know...
Hear my Prayer.
My heart is broken.
My mind is numb.
My body is in pain.
This path of sickness and death;
It is unfamiliar.
I don't want to be here.
I want off this path.
I submit to your mercy.
I sleep in your grace.
I will rest in your goodness.
I Will believe...

A Kid No More
Jesus, I don' want to be a kid anymore!
I know I will always be a child, before the Father;
But I want to grow up, I want to keep growing up.
You say you are my brother.
Jesus, I want to be your brother.
I want to live like your brother.
Thank you for your patience with me.
Thank you for your mercy on me.
Thank you for sticking up for me.
Help me be an adult.
A mature member of the family.
Help me be prepared for eternity.
I know I will always be a child, before the Father;
But I want to grow up, I want to keep growing up.
You say you are my brother.
Jesus, I want to be your brother.
I want to live like your brother.
Thank you for your patience with me.
Thank you for your mercy on me.
Thank you for sticking up for me.

O Lord, set me free,
Free from the inglorious.
Free from the inconsequential.
Free from inconsistent.
Free from selfishness.
Free from self-assurance.
Free from self-centeredness.

Set me free from all that detracts,
Set me free from all that defeats.

Son Glasses
Jesus, My perspective is myopic and short sighted.
I can only see this moment.
And fantasize about the future.
Give me eyes to see,
What you want me to see.
Help me focus on you not the future.
Heal my blindness.
Give me sight.
Give me clarity.
No more rose-colored glasses.
No more bifocals.
No more contacts.
Change my prescription.
Help me focus on you.
Give me Son glasses.
I can only see this moment.
And fantasize about the future.
Give me eyes to see,
What you want me to see.
Help me focus on you not the future.
Heal my blindness.
Give me sight.
Give me clarity.
No more rose-colored glasses.
No more bifocals.
No more contacts.
Change my prescription.
Help me focus on you.
Give me Son glasses.

Circumstancial Evidence
Jesus,
Help me understand
The path of least resistance.
It may not be the right way.
When things are going well,
And all doors fly open,
You may not be there.
Help me see that opposition,
And difficult situations
May not be suffering for you.
When oppression comes
And everything is contrary,
It may not be your discipline.
Show me that circumstance
Good or bad
Are always on the path.
My faith and trust
are in you my Friend,
Not circumstantial evidence.
Help me understand
The path of least resistance.
It may not be the right way.

Transformation
Jesus, transform me!
Show me what I am in you.
Cause my mind and heart to align with you.
Let my conforming be to you not the world.
Show me what it is to live in your Kingdom.
Help me see Your Reality not my reality.
Let my life reflect your values.
Let my worship be 24/7, not an hour on Sundays.
Help me live in each moment.
Not the last one or the nest one.
And in that moment live completely in you.
Jesus, transform me.
Show me what I am in you.
Cause my mind and heart to align with you.
Let my conforming be to you not the world.
Show me what it is to live in your Kingdom.

Test Me
Jesus, When you test me in the furnace of affliction,
May the impurities all be burned away.
Make me as pure as silver and gold.
When I am in the flames of testing;
As steel is hardened in the furnace,
May my life become so resilient.
May I accept the fire as refining and not torture,
As discipline and not punishment,
As freeing and not imprisonment.
May I always remember,
Your Spirit is there in the midst of the Heat,
So...., I accept and submit to your refining.
May the impurities all be burned away.
Make me as pure as silver and gold.
When I am in the flames of testing;
As steel is hardened in the furnace,
May my life become so resilient.
May I accept the fire as refining and not torture,
As discipline and not punishment,
As freeing and not imprisonment.
May I always remember,
Your Spirit is there in the midst of the Heat,
So...., I accept and submit to your refining.

Forgive Us
Jesus, Forgive us for worshiping our acts of worship.
Forgive us for consuming the sacrifice we are bringing to you.
Forgive us for bowing to the idol of success.
Forgive us for idolizing charismatic leaders who have no character.
Forgive us for serving self rather than others.
Forgive us for for our lack of accountable relationships.
Forgive us for acting as if others do not count is our salvation journey.
Forgive us for remaining in the boxes of rules instead of the freedom of relationships.
Forgive us for living in legalism and license instead of love.
Forgive us for making lifestyle choices the litmus test for being part of the Family.
Forgive us for preaching grace and mercy and living judgment and criticism.
Forgive us Lord, Forgive us.....
Forgive us for consuming the sacrifice we are bringing to you.
Forgive us for bowing to the idol of success.
Forgive us for idolizing charismatic leaders who have no character.

Forgive Me
Jesus, Forgive me for saying you don't care.
When things are not to my liking,
Or go contrary to my plans.
Forgive me for beating myself up,
When I make mistakes,
Or think I have failed.
Forgive me for those moments
I act like God,
Like I have all power.
Forgive me for accusing you of abandonment.
You cannot walk away,
You are my savior, brother, and Father.
Forgive me for acting like a child,
Throwing a tantrum,
When I don't get what I want.
Thank you for forgiveness.
Thank you for your love.
Thank you for your life.
When things are not to my liking,
Or go contrary to my plans.
Forgive me for beating myself up,
